I'm in the mood to say Hello

Hello! How are you? I'm so glad that you have decided to check out my blog. If you haven’t used a wheat bag before then hold on because you’re about to meet your new best mate. Really. That’s what I get told by people at markets and online all the time –

“I love my wheat bag it’s like my new best mate!”

This is my first blog post and I wanted to give you a little overview about how Hello Wheatbags came about.

My name is Rebecca, I am a qualified myotherapist and this is where I first discovered how good wheat bags are for tight sore muscles. I definitely used one after a hard day ironing out other people’s kinks all day! I wanted to sell some in my clinic because I knew how much they would benefit my clients. However there came the problem., I could never find one that was either long enough or heavy enough and let's not talk about the ugly corduroy ones! So 3 years ago I started making my own, after all I can use a sewing machine and picking the fabrics was heaps of fun.

They worked really well and I love making them. When it came time to leave massage (the poor body needed a break!) I just moved into making wheatbags on the side for clients and market stalls, while jugging kids and a part time job.

Which brings us to now, wheat bags are my favourite products to make because I really felt like I was selling a product that was useful and had meaning in people’s lives. So I decided to create Hello Wheatbags and have been loving it.

Health and looking after yourself are important values for me and I’ll be sharing lots of information on this blog that I find useful and hopefully you will too.

Follow us on instagram and facebook too to stay up to date.

Thank you, and I hope you have a great day

Bec xx
